Table Pliante Vintage en Formica Bleu, Pieds Chromes 1960

Mid-century, vintage, folding dining kitchen table made of formica, with designer chrome legs, circa 60’s 70’s. The formica tabletop is a both a deep and rich, bright blue color, with black edging around the top of the table.This most original and unique color, ranges somewhere between "Royal Azure Blue" and "Dodger Blue" (as a point of reference for those familiar with the U.S. baseball team), depending on the light andor angles. It has not been altered or repainted. After having bought many tables of this style, this is the first time we’ve ever come across one with this particular color finish. The table is in very good, original, vintage condition, considering it’s been around for almost 60 years There are light signs of usage commensurate with time and an original patina of time on the the tabletop (two very small marks next to a 1 centime coin on the central section & one edge (see photos.) Some very light scratches on the surface, that are not deep and do not affect its cool look.The chrome legs are also in very good, original condition, with some signs and marks of use and age, commensurate with time (see photo.) Light signs of age and use on the underside of the table (see photo.) ~ The side legs are foldable, functional and showcase a really awesome design. ~ All of the legs’ tips are original and present. ~ Because of its convenient small size, this table can be used everywhere, even where space is limited. ~ Great for a kitchenette, loft, small apartment or even a balcony. ~ The table is sturdy, stable and solid. ~ Either side of the table can be folded and be placed against a wall or elsewhere, to gain space. ~ It also can be fully folded for easy transport or storage.
