Pendule murale vintage en formica par Jaz 1960

This model, was a revolution and a major success when it was released to the public( there was lack of inventory for several months) as it was one of the first model to work with battery ( no need anymore of a key) and was in production from 1962 - 1964. The clock has almost sixty years old. This one, is known as LAGIC from 1963 under reference 2348-38 and was featured as "new" on page 15 of the Jaz 196364 catalog. Jaz removed it from its catalog in 1968 and will reused the name in 1974. The design and shape, also evokes a very modern, futuristic, "space-age", look consistent with the mindset of the epoch in which the clock was produced. Clock features: ~ Electric AA battery movement. ( the mechanism is brand new as has been replaced by processionnal clock repair expert and has a 6 months warranty. ~ ICF caliber and a French license (for the electric pendulum.) ~ A black formica case with yellow formica rounded edges. ~Front of the clock has convex glass with brass colored edging and can be opened.( very light mark of usage and time on the glass between the numbers 12 and 3 ( see photo) ~ yellow " starburst background decor" ( very light fading on some decor, see picture) ~ yellow numbers, brass color finish hour and minute hands and a bright-red, central, "seconds" hand ( very light mark of usage and time). ~ Dimensions: H: 23 x W: 22 cm x D: 5 cm Light signs of usage and patina of age-compatible wear marks. The clock has been tested and is fully functional with AA 1.5 volt battery (not included.) Make sure to have the clock straight and it will work. The rear of the clock has a black button to adjust the time and has a wall hook. Those models are getting harder and harder to find , especially in good working condition
